Do you suspect the bearing or just the bracket? The bracket fairly easy to fix.

Can you better describe the rumble? Mine is making a kind of "chittering" sound under load when cold. It seems to mostly go away once warmed up. I haven't had time to crawl underneath, but it sounds like it is coming from under the center console area.
I haven't looked yet. So far the rumble is only under higher torque. Smooth acceleration is fine.
Over winter there was a noise when cold, but the rumble is there when it's warm. I need to crawl under and look to see if I can see anything. I doubt I can fix this myself.
Just grab the drive shaft behind the carrier and if it moves easily side to side the rubber is worn or wearing out. You will know when it fails the thunk upon accelerating is unmistakable.

I crawled under mine last night. There is way too much play. I'll be installing my Vertex replacement soon.
It's in the shop. I failed on the way to work. I didn't even get a change to crawl under.
It's only money, right?
Excellent product, don’t forget to add grease to the bearing.

New Vertex carrier installed. I also greased the bearing. Noise is totally gone. Took about an hour.
