Hello!

So I'm trying to replace the G89 sensor on my 2014 Touareg, but I can't seem to find this thing.

I found the instructions below in a maintenance manual I bought on Ebay. It shows the general location as being behind/below the glove box, but doesn't provide any additional details.

Does anyone have a better diagram that actually shows its location in more detail? Or even a "hey dummy, it's right next to X!"?

EDIT:
I finally figured it out with the help from a guy working on a Q7 on YT.

It was on left side of the passenger footwell, jammed up underneath an A/C duct and some other wires so you can't see it as a sensor. Just look for the wires going into the sensor and feel your way in.

Awesome self solve.
Any chance you could post the YT video on this thread so it'll help others who want to locate it?

Why did you purchase a manual online? I uploaded the complete service manuals on here for free.
