I am still having issues from new with the Engine, Auto-Dist-Reg and CAN-Gateway modules throwing faults.faults
The VW dealer was trying to imply that scanning the car with a VAG-COM cable triggers faults in the control modules.
Is this possible?
He mentioned something about needing to have your car running when performing scans, so as to not trigger errors due to possible low voltage tripping up control modules.
I mentioned to him that the time of the faults were while I was driving, not scanning.
Also, as I have escalated my concerns with VW Australia, they have told me not to scan the car again (after they performed some configuratoin changes to my car on the last dealership visit), even though they acknowledged that scanning the car will not void my warranty.
