On my 2011 Touareg, the button on both my front headrests don't allow for adjustment of the headrest anymore. It is like something broke inside and pressing the button no longer releases a lock that allows the headrest be moved up/down back/forward. It is strange that this happened on both front seats. Did this happen to anyone else, and if yes, how did you fix it? I found a replacement headrest for one side on the second hand market, and that one is working fine. I would prefer to fix both my headrests instead of throwing them away. When shaking the headrest after removing it from the seat, nothing rattles, so nothing obvious broke off inside. If enough folks have this issue, and we find out which piece is actually broken inside, I could look into building a replacement part.
