Have to replace my pads and rotors on my 06 VW Touareg 3.2BMX standard model with no TPMS. Was going to buy from TireRack but need some help on how to determine what size front brake piston caliper i need to buy? 4 or 6? And how can i determine that on my own?

https://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brakes.jsp?autoMake=Volkswagen&autoModel=Touareg+V6&autoYear=2006&autoModClar=Standard+Model&make=Hawk&model=LTS+Truck/SUV+Pads&group=&cat=

Tirerack support also stated that i need 2 brake pad sensors per caliper. Is that correct?

Will be getting Zimmerman z-coated 330MM rotors again.

Any other equipment i would need to buy?
Going to have a local shop install and bed the brakes.
Last set of zimmerman rotors and hawk lts brake pads i got about 60k miles on so im going back to that setup again.

Thanks,

No, you only need 1 sensor per caliper where each sensor has 2 wear indicators.
I went with ZImmerman + Pagid for both front and rear:
Front:

Rear:

For rear caliper bolts, you need a M16 triple square bit. That bolt is very tight. I got below set.

For rears, 18" breaker bar for rear fits the perfectly to the wheel area and makes the job easier.
