Brake pedal

Hi All, new to the worls of big 4x4 autos so please bear with me, My brake pedal is sticking down around 2-3" leaving the brake lights on, not all the time and normally when cabin has warmed up. Has anyone experienced this and do I just need to put some spray grease on the input shaft or do i need to look at something else.

Any help appreciated

When asking questions you need to let people know which model and what year.

There was a recall on the brake pedal on 2014 model year or thereabouts Touaregs.

If your car is recently purchased go back to the dealer you bought it from and get them to get it fixed.

If bought privately I would get a VW dealer to look at it ASAP.

That is not normal behavior on ANY vehicle. Get it looked at by a shop ASAP.

If your braking is affected in any way, have it towed.
