I recently had my blower motor go out and the replacement worked for about 2 weeks.

Upon further research the motor was not the issue rather there is a problem with the connector getting loose over time and slightly melting and not making good contact.

I was able to rig it to make good contact but I know I'm most likely delaying a bigger issue if it melts further and/or damages the motor side plug.

This seems to be somewhat of a common issue. I was wondering if anyone has been able to find a source for the power connector as my area doesn't have any equal generation Touaregs in the salvage yards.

The dealership has a replacement but its not cheap and I have to put the wires into the plastic connector myself as well.

I've also discovered other VW group SUV's use different connector configurations for what appears to be the same blower motor.

I searched a bunch of places and couldn't find a connector for the blower motor.
Are there any numbers on the plug itself that you can read?

My other (out of the box) thinking is if something like in the link below would have that connector on it that you could salvage. I'm not sure if it has the blower motor connector on it but it is for the HVAC/heater system. Might be worth a look.
