Im back in a colder state and to make it easier for my 04 touareg tdi to start i wanted to plug it in, but i cant find the block heater plug in. Can anyone help pin point the location for this block heater for me please, or does it even have a block heater? Thank you

I don't think you will have a plug in block heater unless one was fitted by a previous owner.

The V10 normally had a diesel fired Webasto heater.

As I suggest to all Touareg owners, go to your local VW dealer and get them to print off a copy of the build sheets [also known as data sheets] for your car. These pages will list everything your car was built with. The less easy alternative is to decipher the three letter codes on the build sticker that's on the metal floor by the spare wheel.
