My 6 month old CR 210 RLine had a nasty glitch yesterday. After starting, the main infotainment screen was blank.
It wasn't just a display problem - multiple systems did not start at all. The radio was on, but volume could not be controlled by the main volume wheel or from the steering wheel. On the Virtual Cockpit display, selecting navigation just showed a Navigation starting message. Same with selecting Audio. No way to control HVAC, parking assist, auto stop either. Driving data was available.
Everything came back to normal after a shutdown and has been fine for the last 6 starts.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and if so whether VW has done anything about it. It's going to the dealer tomorrow anyway so if I can get anymore information that would be appreciated.
