CloneCD with an app that combines with it (don´t remenber the name of it :? ) should do the job... Look for CloneCD and that other app in www.gamecopyworld.com... They have lot´s of burning rom software, so you should find what you´re looking for...
Backup Navigation CD's
Did anybody managed to copy the navigation CD's ? I tried to copy them just in case something will happen to the original cd's but I couldn't. I tried nero on my pc and toast on my mac and neither software was able to bypass the copyright protection. did anybody have better luck ?

I was able to copy mine with Alcohol 120% (Trial Version). Here's a link to an archived VW Vortex thread that I participated in regarding the burning process. It started as trial and error, but we got it in the end.

I was trying to make some back ups of my Navi CD's also. Passengers keep hitting the button, looking at them... Scratches, replacement cost, etc.
I managed using 2 different methods to make exact duplicates of the CD using Nero. For some reason the T-Reg is smart enough to not use these CDs even though they are by my & the software estimation exact duplicates.
Very strange.
I'm going to try the other methods listed in this post and see how I make out. Thanks!

I stuck one of my Nero "perfect duplicates" into a 2000 Mercedes S-500 Navi system, which loaded the CD and it works fine in there!
The Mercedes only comes with 1 CD for the area you bought it. Replacement or other zone CD's are $$$ if you don't know where to get them.

Don't be fooled, the NAV disc DO have copy protection and are NOT exact copies, even if they look it. See the link above in my previous post about using Alcchol 120% trial. It works!
