2006 2.5 tdi. Does this model fit with automatic folding mirrors. When you switch off the engine the mirrors folds and when switch on engine mirrors open. Can someone please tell me if I can change the settings as I'm worring about the button it might brake .

No. Just use your knob.

Oh, and don't leave it in the 12 o'clock position as that leaves the mirror heaters on.

^^What nooby said. I have never seen a T1 that had automatic fold in mirrors but almost all of them had the motorized mirrors, so you can turn the knob to fold them in and out manually.

Anyone has the schematics for this? I am interested to fix a broken mirror.
