In this case, I would have to say your ASU affiliation is no cause for ignorance. I think, however, someone must be ignorant with respect to selling, because you are right... there is absolutely NO BENEFIT proposed for this item. Makes absolutely no sense... where's ATLAST's website and what else do they have to offer. Perhaps they are targeting VW dealers. But then, what USA VW dealer would need a switch with a rear fog light setting?

Not a bad question. As its been expressed, the European Headlight switch is used in conjuction with rear fog lights. That is correct.

. However, currently there is not a plug and play system to make this work. The headlight switch gives your different options the the North American Headlight switch. Including the ability to turn the Fog lights on without the headlights.

Yeah good work on the GB. I love GB's they are the best... Here in the US rear fog lights are illegal, just soo everyone knows. You can't have white lights on the rear of your vehicle unless off roading.

Trent - that's not true - they are not illegal here. Currently SAAB and Volvo both sell production cars in the US that have rear fog lights.I installed one on the previous passat that I had. Unlike what you say above, they are not white to the rear. The left rear light is very bright compared to the right rear. When I first saw one, I thought that the car had a bad right rear bulb.

Now the picture that is shown on the site from AtLast looks like my taillight and I am not sure what the picture is trying to show.
