Are there no quality Touareg repair shops in Edmonton?

I have had a thread posted on the forum for the last week searching for recommendations for a repair shop for my 2004 Treg. To date I have had several individuals view this thread but no responses. Does this mean that ALL Treg owners in the Edmonton area have not been happy with the work received, or perhaps, the vehicle is soooooo good that no one has had to take their Touareg to a repair shop? Then again, there is always the routine maintenance - of which mine requires the 80,000 km service (timing belt change, etc.). Any suggestions regarding where I should take my vehicle for this service in the Edmonton area would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have been using Sandy Lane Auto for the past couple services on my 05 V8. I recently had the timing belt/waterpump done through them and they were over $600 cheaper than Southgate VW. Thier service dept is quite familiar with the Touaregs and I would recomend them over many other shops in the city and I have used both Southgate VW as well as Norden. They also do my oil changes and are $70 cheaper than Southgate VW. Call and speak with Brett @ 780-469-0075.

I hope this helps.

Appreciate the info on SLA, Wakes. My wife is actually from Edmonton and we visit Edmonton often. I will try SLA out sometime... Thanks.

I dealt with Sandy Lane a number of years ago when I drove Volvos and they were very good. Have recently dealt with Auto RX on Calgary trail south for the Acura and my old 911 and liked them. Haven't taken my treg there so you might want to scope them out first. The owner is usually at the counter and is easy to talk to.
