Interested how you connected the second battery Mr Hedditch? the V10's have a separate charging and starting system built in for the rear battery, did you retro fit that as well or use an aftermarket DC to DC charger?

I used a very heavy gauge cable from the front battery and a RedArc Battery Isolation switch. I am getting 14 + volts at the rear battery with the engine running, so there are no issues with getting a fully charged battery. Both front and rear batteries are the same electrical size (AMP/HR and CCA ). Redarc has a manual overide button which allows both batteries to be paralleled in the event of a flat start battery.
