Hi, I have a 2004 Volkswagen Touareg V8. Over the past couple of months I have brought my vehicle into the VW dealership for the same complaint. While driving at highway speeds, mostly above 65 mph- right when I take my foot off of the gas I hear this 'whiirrrrrrrrrrr er er er er'(lol thats the best i could do) noise. It's medium pitched. Imagine when getting a filling, and right when the drill touches your tooth, thats kind of the pattern the noise makes. It comes from the rear/middle of the car. Anyways, I just got my car back from the dealer today and they said they replaced the differential (they checked the oil and found metal in it). Back in January, I had this same issue, and they replaced the driveshaft. Even with both of these replaced, the noise has not gone away. At higher speeds, it gets louder. Please please help. My factory warranty expires in 1k miles and I drive a lot. I will be buying another warranty soon, but just in case. Thanks!
