Parking brakes are fitted to all Touaregs - it matters not whether it's operated by hand, foot or switch.

This is my misunderstanding of Toaureg terminology. A hand brake is a HAND brake. A parking brake implies a parking brake, true enough. But in a 7P? It’s an electrically controlled device. I don’t think I would ever call that a Hand Brake. But. I don’t use Petrol. I use gas. Not even gasoline. Damn. I’m old.
