Hi all,

The wife and I decided to drive to Lorne and back on a fantastic sunny Sunday. The shot below was the return leg down Geelong road, average long term consumption is 10.8 lts / 100km.

How can you complain about that.

Cheers

We drove from Tin Can Bay (near Fraser Is) to BriVegas today - averaged 95kph @ 9.8 l/100. It is around 230 Kms - about 160k is freeway but nevertheless great economy. Actually have done better on the same trip (9.2l/100k) but probaby slightly slower. Ours too is the great V10.

Excellent! I'm about to set off on a 700 mile jaunt -- I hope that I get close to your mileage!

PS. For the Yanks in the crowd, this translates to ~21.8 mpg.

excellent results, my R5 long term (about the last 8000km's) figure is just 8.9 l/100 km's. After the trip to Bathurst Races last weekend it went to 8.9 and and 7.8 for the return trip. amazing given the mass of the vehicle.
