I have noticed a sudden change in my suspension. I have v10 TDI 2004 Touareg. My suspension is very soft & bouncy. I have replaced the front air bag suspension struts & a new air compressor about 2 years ago & my suspension was working fine. I had my vehicle in for service about 3. Weeks ago, I was informed I had an air leak in one of the rear air bag struts, it wasn’t replaced at that time.
The suspension was still working until few days ago when suddenly it dropped into this bouncy mode. Can anybody inform me of my problem, when my front strut failed it just bottomed out, but didn’t get bouncy

You need to scan module 34 with VCDS. Then do some reading in various measured value blocks, such as strut control current, ride mode selected, etc.

Thanks for the info, can you indicate what current values I need, if not can you direct me to more where to find them, as I don’t think there printed in manual. Thanks again

You need to read the appropriate SSP, it lists the current curve. It is continuously variable depending on many conditions.
