Hello,

Car is a 2004 Touareg 5L V10, 300,000km.

Getting the red running gear go to workshop message on the screen, and the codes on the suspension are:

01400 - Level Control System - Lower Limit Exceeded

02250 - Function Deactivation Valve Switch-On Duration - Upper Limit Exceeded

The tank pressure is 8.7 bar, seems a little low, I read somewhere that it should be around 14 bar, the highest I see it go is a spike to 10 bar and back down.. when I switch to sport mode it goes down to 0.98 bar and sits there, when I switch to auto it goes to around 6 bar and after a couple of times of the compressor turning on it gets to 8.7 bar and the suspension level keeps blinking on the screen as if it's trying to get to the target height but it can't..

When I clear the codes, they can come back shortly after I start the car or the car can idle for an hour and they come back eventually..

The only thing I can think of right now is its a bad compressor? As far as I know it was rebuilt not long ago..

Here is a video of the live parameters on a graph and what happens when I switch from auto to sport and back:

Anyone had this problem before, any ideas?

Greetings from Ukraine

Just watched my video again (another 10 times haha), I noticed one interesting thing, it shuts off the compressor when the temperature reaches exactly 230 degrees everytime...

The codes you have are suggestive of a leak in the system. You could do the 'overnight or 7 hour drop test'; in which if you have only one corner drop by >4mm then you have you a guide as to where to concentrate your efforts. If more than one corner drops then you will likely have a bad valve block.
IMHO if you continue to drive around with car in this condition you risk destroying your air compressor pump as well. Best to get on top of this ASAP.

The car is sitting in the shop for 3 weeks with other wiring problems, the car does not drop overnight or overweeks :)

maximum pressure in the accumulator is 16.5 Bar. The compressor will kick in if the pressure is <11 Bar. Does you compressor come on frequently? Is it possible that you have a leak at either the front or rear accumulator tanks? IMO the low pressure 8.7 Bar suggests a leak in the system.

The damper setting should not have any effect on the ride height ( senior members can chime in on this).

Yes, the compressor constantly comes on and off (can see on video how often), and never goes above 8.7 bar, also noticed the absolute height also has a large difference on the FL side:
Font Rectangle Material property Parallel Pattern

I will try recalibrating it again while I wait for a lift to be available so I can lift her and check for air leaks.. thank you for your input
