Hello everybody,

Ive been searching to find any type of offroad wheels that will fit our rides, and while i can find the 5X130 pattern, the offsets are nowhere near the 57 ive been seeing in the max tire size.

Most of them have an offset of 25-30.

Any tips or brands i should look at?

For example,

Would these two work?

One has an offset of 45 and the other of 48.

Offset alone doesn't mean anything. Read up on wheel sizing so you can understand what you're looking at.
Offset combined with rim width means something.
Those two plus your tire OD (and width) give you your desired "max tire size"
Use online calculators to see how deviations change various clearances, etc.

Ok, so what is the OEM tire size and wheel specs?

255/55/18 18X8 et57? Would it be safe to say if i kept the dimensions the same and changed only the offset to 45 or 48 i wouldnt rub?

When you say bolt seat and length, i assume you mean the type/shape of bolt used and the length of the bolts?

Sorry if my Qs are stupid...

Don't apologize for not knowing, but do take the time to learn. Did you check the link I provided? You enter your values and it tells you everything that changes, from overall diameter to suspension or fender clearances, etc.

Don't worry about bolt stuff for now, you need to understand wheel sizing first.

I entered the new wheel/tire sizes and the results that returned were that the tire and rim will stick out 12 mm farther - which I presume isn't something that would cause rubbing. It also mentioned something about the scrub radius moving towards the wheel well (positive scrub radius) but looking the the diagram i assume that will be fixed with an alignment by adjusting camber. no?

Don't get ahead of yourself.
Look at what's currently on your vehicle. Turn the wheels lock-to-lock and look at the areas where clearance is at the minimum. Typically, this is the inside fender edge at the rear of the wheel well, and at the outside leading edge of the fender in front of the wheel.... but it depends on what you do with the overall diameter as well.... so the potential problem area may become the strut or a control arm, or any other component.

Once you know where the least amount of clearance you have is, you can either look for different widths and offsets, or compensate with spacers, etc. Only at that point do you need to start looking at bolts, or changing over to studs, or whatever.

I came across this website as well, and it seems quite useful for anyone, but I honestly cannot figure it out. I entered my model and I tried to go to the tire calculator, but it doesn't seem like that model gets converted into the calculator; it seems like the calculator needs to be manually edited in full. Even with that, I don't know what other information I should be entering other than the wheel size. I don't have information on the wheel well dimensions. Unfortunately, they don't have a tutorial page for people like me LOL.

What? You enter your existing tire size on one side, and your new tire size on the other.... then you look at all the values.
What's confusing you?
Well I get that but I don't know if I will have an issue with rubbing of fenders when in a turned position, especially while off-road and compressed? I have air-suspension so I would be concerned if I have 275/60/18 w/ 25 offset. The diagram is stagnant so I know if the fenders turns red, its a warning. But what about when the tire is turned and compressed? See link for settings. Thanks.
