Is there anything like an aftermarket cargo cover/shade that would work well on the T1/T2? I called VW today and they wanted $645!! I look on ebay and they want about $150. These things are cheap pieces of fabric and plastic. Surely someone makes them aftermarket for less.

$100-$150 is a fair price, IMHO. One of the cheaper parts to replace on your Touareg, really! LOL! $600+ USD is nuts, that's for sure! VW even wanted about the same price for a new wind blocker for the Eos. They sell all day long for ~$200 USD on eBay.

Yeah, I guess $100-150 is on the upper end of fair. It just stinks that the one that matches my car is $150 plus S/H (~$30extra)
