Can anyone spot where it went?
Pads and rotors. Though, the wheels were over $2k, and the tires (mounted, road forced and 4 wheel alignment) were also $2k 🤔🤔🤔New brake pads?
Nice wheels! Are they direct fit? Can you provide the specs of your set up?
Dealers only sell sensors, pads, and rotors in their $2,000 brake job quote… non of them fit new pad hardware… a critical satisfaction mistake… this raises the likelihood of chatter and noise due to misalignment of components… all my brake kits include these critical hardware parts as necessary, all at a fraction of dealer prices..
The lettering is very clear on the hub of the rotor. I'll get that info this evening.Actually, the dealers don’t sell ‘Brembo’ rotors… it’s an aftermarket German supplier, as I recall.. they say made in Germany on them. Brembo manufacturers in Italy for the EU market; Mexico and USA for the NA market, there’s much OEM business in NA; and China, for all markets. Most aftermarket Brembo part numbers have a “C” buried in the number string. China! (Brake pads may have a Brembo logo, but are made by Pagid or Textar, div., TMD Friction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nisshinbo…a Japanese company…) A long way from Brembo, the Italian brake manufacturer.
Lots of new shiny hardware is evident, I'll have to check on park brake. They said they did basic settings on park brake and everything is perfect ( I told them replace anything screwy while they were in there)
