Not sure if the 7L operates the same, but the 7P is...
When you have the cruise control on, set at the desired speed, pull the lever towards you and it will go up in 1 km/h increments, push the button on the end of the lever and it will go down in 1 km/h increments. You already know how to adjust the +- 10 Km/h increments.

Hey there, On my 2009 TDi if I press the set button it drops 1 and the res (resume) increases the speed by 1 when Im using the ACC.
