Hello Fellow Members,

I believe that my ABS Pump has failed. I am getting ABS Light Indicator as well as ESP Light on. Below is the relevant VCDS scan readout. I also checked fuses to confirm the issue was not a fuse issue.

Took the car into my local dealer as well, and they also indicated that they believe the ABS Pump has failed. Now I will purchase a new ABS Pump - I believe the part No. is: 7L0 614 517 CBEF.

My question is what is the coding process using VCDS that has to be done when you replace the ABS Pump ? Is there a link/source to a clear process for ABS Pump coding for the Touareg?

I have searched online/googled and most of what I can find is coding process for 1 - Audi.....

Any help would be appreciated.

Coding a module in VCDS is a basic process. You go into the module, enter a security code (if required), enter the new code, and hit the 'Do it' button. The coding for your existing module is listed in your auto-scan, and that is what you would enter.

Thanks for the response. Ok, I will proceed to order the new module, and as I do have a legit Ross Tech interface, I will also contact them for support/instructions prior to attempting the procedure.
