I was receiving an ABS MIL intermittently that appeared to be associated with the right rear speed sensor "implausible signal" code. I went ahead and bought the sensor for $50 and figured I'd swap it out. As I started the swap I noticed the wire connector housing was out of the fixation point and resting against the axle. The rubber cable housing had worn thru exposing one of the wires. It looks like I need a new extension of wire. I'll have to check to see if I can find it. Lesson learned, I really should have checked the connection before I ordered the part. BTW the car was hit in the right rear quarter a while back and in the shop. A bit of shoddy workmanship.

Good spot. Can't you just repair the wire with some self-amalgamating tape to keep the water out?
