Congrats on the ride, my Treg is also an Air suspension, double locker variant =)

Airbag sensor fix is cake. I actually did it myself when my Treg was still under the factory warranty.

In order to kill the TPMS you have to physically disconnect the module which is under the drivers side dashboard and recode it to the current setting which is 00006. The ECU won't receive a response from the missing module and your TPMS will be disabled.

No way to DIY the module updates. I really have no reason to. One thing I did years ago is recode the Trans ECU to euro spec to get rid of the between-shift slush factor.

Just a quick update. Treg is now in my garage. Just changed the tranny fluid/screen and am taking a break from doing the T-Belt as I type this. Next order of business will be the airbag connector fix under the seat, investigating the "hall sensor" codes pulled from the diff and getting my Dynapro's mounted/road force balanced and suspension aligned.

Looking at the VAG scan I posted above, it seems that some of the software in some modules needs updating. If I have to visit the dealer so be it, but I'm hoping there is a way to update it myself. Anyone know if DIY is a possibility?

Also, I see a few procedures here to shut TPMS off completely, but I'm finding conflicting info. Does anyone know the proper way to delete it? Treg is an 04 V8.
