Yup. And VW realized that mist Americans can not distinguish a real SUV from what is essentially a tarted up minivan with big tires and 4 traditional doors. Likewise, the greatest rugged off-road adventure most of these will ever see is driving across the astroturf soccer field.

Unfortunately, even the VW dealers are either confused or realize they do not have a replacement and are trying to put lipstick on the pig. Not to long ago I received a mailer from the dealer suggesting I "UPGRADE" my Touareg for a new Atlas. Kind of like upgrading your Corvette for a new Chevette.

Yes - I keep getting those as well... 'You can upgrade your Touareg for your cars trade & only an extra $27k!! Come on down!!'

enjoy that FCA quality and after support. They don’t give a F either.

Nearly 49k on our Pacifica Hybrid. In the shop 2x for safety recalls. No mechanical issues at all.

We did get the lifetime, unlimited mileage warranty although FCA dropped that option last year .
