I've got a 2008 v6 altitude

I want to get a tow bar retrofitted. I've just had a look and I have what looks like a little removable section but doesn't seem to be any clips etc to remove e it. There are 4 bolts. Will I have to get the lower bumbee/skirt replaced. Also to get the fridge etc working in the Caravan eill 3 cables have to be run to the front of car as I've read thar not all the wires are there.
Any info would be great as read so much stuff and am getting confused.

Take it to uhaul I think they make bar for Treg. And for campers or any 8pin trailer wiring, you may need brake controller. This site has all info you need.

Given that the OP calls it a tow bar and refers to a caravan, I don't think they live in the USA.

EU towbars are built to different specifications to Australian or American ones.

My 2010 has the same rear bumper, but I have a factory (North American spec) hitch. It looks like they cut the bumper shell below that "removable" section. Not sure if it is in fact removable.

Thanks, yea mine us definitely removable as York it off earlier. Took about 5 mons you undo the 4 bolts as double nutted behind.

For the NA market the rear bumper cover is two different part numbers dependent on hitch or no hitch specifically for the limited lux or r50 styling.. Check VW parts catalog and see if it list different part numbers based on towbar or non towbar.
