I've been watching a few videos on how it's a good idea to clean your vehicles A/C condenser/evaporator. It is supposed to help get buildup off of the components and help the system run more efficiently.
Has anyone done this on their Treg and did it make a difference?
I figure it might be a good routine maintenance thing to do, especially on my '11 which I'm sure has accumulated contaminants there.
I'm sure it was but jokes are for FB groups or Twitter. Here we are supposed to be trying to help each other and learn more on how to keep our Tregs running optimal.
I think the guinea pig in question escaped & made a nest behind the dashboard. If your aircon works as normal & doesn't smell then it doesn't need cleaning imho.
I'd suggest that you simply start by a visual inspection.
If you see all kinds of crap in your condenser, you can keep going.
Otherwise, you're just making work for yourself.
I specifically said condenser, which is the "a/c rad" at the front of the car.....
We are talking apples to oranges.
Let us know the results of your cleaning.
Well... it should stay fairly clean unless you've allowed your pollen filter to be all nasty and unchanged for a long time.
Do you have HVAC smells in the cabin?
Do you feel like your A/C performance is diminished?
