A little while back I had a thread about my 2012 7P CATA and what I eventually found was a cracked upstream aux EGR cooler slowly leaking into the exhaust and burning coolant.
Long story short the thread was hijacked by some people that were dicks. So I started a new thread to help those that wanted to do the EGR delete and coolant line re-route and filter out the bullshit.

The document I created is attached and is EGR COOLER DELETE AND COOLANT LINE RE-REOUTE. All the info is in the attached files.

At the time I did a swirl flap delete kit and also bought a Primary CAT delete from Darkside Performance. I bought the primary CAT because I was worried a little of the original VW CAT being minged up with all the glycol being burned and the 260k km of carbony exhaust going through it. In hindsight I probably should have just let the CAT burn out and replace if needed. With the new Darkside primary CAT the vehicle has a little bit of throaty sound to it and it smells like an old diesel burner.
The new flash files for the deletes were from Malone and they added it to the Stage 2 CAT back delete tune I had got a few years previous.
