Mine is Non-UDS. I don't think it is possible. Already went through all the dam measuring block numbers with nothing found.
The following information is what I've learned from reading way too many posts on the subject.

You're interested in the adaptation value. Ideally, it's zero, but as your chains wear, they will get noisy and once you get around -8 to -9 you can expect a failure. At that point you should have a significant amount of rattle, especially on cold startups.Address 01: Engine (7P0 907 401 K)

Any audible starting noise\rattle?-4.7 degrees

Should. I will check later.Does your setup show a label file when you autoscan for the engine module?

I emailed Andy for some clarification.I believe that's where the descriptions would be pulled from.... so you may need to submit controller channel maps to VCDS as they ask users to contribute to their information in order to document everything properly. You can also see this if you have any saved autoscan results as it should list the label files (or the lack if them).
158,538 milesGuys, if you only list partial information, it doesn't tell us much.
Need to know current milage.
Need to know adaptation value.
Need to know if you have rattle/noise.
I like the table! To help with the blanks, ours is a '13 CNRB with 10K OCI.Added table to post #1 for easy visual review at a glance.

I pick my car up from the shop today or tomorrow. Mine definitely has a ~.25-.5 second rattle on turnover. 2016 TDI / 33K milesAny audible starting noise\rattle?
On cold starts, you'll get that.... I wouldn't sweat it.I pick my car up from the shop today or tomorrow. Mine definitely has a ~.25-.5 second rattle on turnover. 2016 TDI / 33K miles
YepOn cold starts, you'll get that.... I wouldn't sweat it.
If it keeps up after the first initial few seconds, then I'd start paying attention to it and possibly checking the phase position more frequently. Either way, you've got lots of dieselgate warranty left over, so no need to stress over it much at this point.
agreed! And yeah it’s less than a half a second, I’ve never heard the sound continue. And the cars in-service was 5/2019 so my factory PT goes to 5/2029 + 100K and dieselgate to 5/2029 + 120K. Crazy amount of factory warranty on this 6 year old beast. On cold starts, you'll get that.... I wouldn't sweat it.

I chose it because someone on here said “buy the best/newest Touareg with the most warranty you can afford.” Also, White over Terra Cotta TDI Exec and 21” Mallories😛
sorry, back to the program...
