Hi all –
I have four 275/45/ZR19 Continental Extreme Contact DWS for sale.
The good:
These are very well reviewed tires. See Continental*ExtremeContact DWS
Tires have approximately 15K miles on them and are about 1.5 years old.
They are only lightly, and evenly, worn. The “S” on the DWS is still clearly visible. I got about 45K miles out of the last set on the Treg.
The bad:
One tire has a flat repair in the center of the tread area. Professionally done and haven’t had any issues, just full disclosure. See pic.
A second tire currently has a nail in it. I would have had it fixed first but didn’t know it until the tire was off the Treg.
Again in the center of the treat area, this is a $10 repair at a tire shop. See pic.
These are, in my opinion, the best street tires for our Tregs on 19” wheels. I noticed a big handling difference from the OE Cross Contact tires. I also have had the set in the snow a couple of times and they do well. This is the second set I have had on the Treg. I replaced them because I find myself doing more camping and light off roading, and wanted something more appropriate to that (went with the Goodyear Wrangle Duratracs – totally different style tire!).
I paid about $1K, not including the install. First $300 picked up in Los Angeles (Silver Lake area) takes them – please PM me. (Sorry - header says $400 but only asking $300. Can't edit. Thanks!)
I can also email hi-res pics if desired.
Thank you!
Matt
