Who can tell me if the bridgestone revo's in the size 265/70/18 will fit?
I have seen a lot of touaregs with the 17 inch or did I just answer my own question?
Anybody has these? Please show pics

The 265/70-18's are 32.6" in diameter.

The 265/70-17's are 31.7" in diameter.

The 265/65-17's are 30.5" in diameter.

Maximum VW recommended tire diameter is 29.5" in diameter.

I run the 265/65-17's and they are plenty big enough when used with the air suspension. I have observed absolutely no rubbing or interference of any kind at any suspension setting or in any kind of offroad situation. Due to the larger than OEM diameter, acceleration is slower, braking distances are longer and top speed would probably be slower, but I have never clocked it with these tires designed primarily for offroad use. I would be uncomfortable with a tire any larger for fear of interference issues under extreme conditions.

Others here run the 265/70-17's and report no issues. For the extra 1/2" of ground clearance, I'll stick with the 265/65-17's.

I know of no one running the 265/70-18 tire size. Frankly, I cannot imagine it would fit without interference under some conditions. I would strongly recommend against it.

If, however, you are a "push the edge of the envelope" kind of person, then by all means give them a try and let us know how they work (or don't).

Thing is I heard good things about the revo's but they have no solution for the 18 inch rims, so I was hoping to see if some one knew they would fit. I do have the air suspension

I run the stock 255/55/18 Nitto TerraGrapplers all winter, I just put my summer tires back on. Nitto 404's in 275/60/18. Thay are taller and wider than stock. They cost me 1/2 mile per gal. in gas, but handle great and seedo is right on. They also really fill up the wheel well. All year tires are a compromise, they aren't performance or snow. For best results you need two sets.
