Those are some nice looking rims. I’m certainly interested; but that’s an awful long road trip for me 😁

 

I’m in South Jersey and the only reason I might not buy them next week is it doesn’t get cold enough or snow enough to justify a dedicated set anymore. But they’re definitely nice wheels, great value for anyone looking for a dedicated winter set.

 

Now that you said that you know we’re getting hit with snow this winter!!

lol the universe may be pushing me your way. I was supposed to get my wheels on yesterday, but the powdercoating shop broke 2 of my OEM TPMS from those wheels when they removed them for the painting so my dealer couldn’t mount the tires yesterday.

and I’ve been thinking to myself should I take advantage of this time to get my freshly painted wheels ceramic coated before installing tires.

and wait until March to get them installed. And buy these winters now. Because I am going skiing in Vermont in February and this would be perfect.

do the winters have functional OEM TPMS?

 

Yes they functioned as of last winter. Porsche tpms work with VW. I’ve never had an issue.

 

As an aside - I loved having these on as they’re much lighter than the stock rims on my Touareg. Really made a nice improvement in driving albeit with winter tires.
