I'm looking for a new home for my 2017 Touareg. It's the top of the line, Executive trim level and has the adaptive cruise, lane change warning, auto braking, and every other option available, I believe. It also has the best audio system I've ever owned I'll miss that. I bought the vehicle from a dealer in Kansas City who searched and found this exec car in CA. It had about 17,000 miles when I bought it in 2018. Since then, the Touareg has been coast to coast once, both starting in the middle of the country, and now that home is N. VA, we drive back to KC and up to western NY frequently, so the car only sits when I'm out of town. You can do the math though, with 150,000 miles, it gets driven. VW did the maintenance until 100,000 miles, then I shortened the oil change interval and have tried to make every 5000 miles.

The vehicle has only had two non-maintenance issues in 150,000 miles, one was the AC drain on the passenger side clogged. The second was my fault, I managed to back into a mobile lift, with an overhanging basket, and blew out the back window. Since that also dented the window recess, the whole tailgate was replaced, and they did an excellent job. And I'm embarrassed to say that there is some wheel rash from DC curbs.

I have all of the records, WeatherTech floor mats all around, including the back, Thule roof racks, and I'm happy to share all the little nits that you may not notice. If you are looking for a well maintained, loaded Touareg, you should look at mine. I'll miss many things about the vehicle, but with grandchildren, I needed more room and with all the driving I'm doing, I decided it was time for a hybrid SUV.

I'm asking $15000 based on what I'm seeing in the market for other Touaregs. It appears that Autotrader offers some seller/buyer protection, so I've also listed it there. You can see a few more pictures if interested. Autotrader - page unavailable

I think you're pricing it based on what you might have seen TDI touaregs sell for ... I'm no expert, but from what I gathered when I was shopping a couple months ago, the TDI touaregs sell for about $5,000 more than comparable vr6 gas models. Id expect an executive TDi with 150k miles to fetch in the low to mid teens. That said, I think your price seems steep.

Sure. I tried to listen to a book on a CD during a covid road trip, and after all the lectures that I've listened to in the car, the CD player had died. Not a big deal as I listen to music on the SD cards (there are 2) and can stream the books from my phone. The plastic cover on the front fender camera is cracked, so I've covered it to protect the camera. It's a junkyard type of part, but I don't use the 360 camera feature, so I haven't tried the junkyard yet. Someone managed to ding the driver's door in a parking lot. I had the dent removed, but the touchup paint still shows. Finally, there is a rock nick in the hood that has touchup paint and a nick in the passenger side of the windshield that was fixed by USAA since it was small. Hope that list is helpful, as that's about it. Not bad considering all the driving and trips.
