Hi folks. I would like an opinion please.
Losing about 1 litre coolant every 1200km, no puddle under the car.
Found the attached stains underneath the coolant pump.

If it is just the seal, do you reckon this can be replaced without changing the entire pump? I will pull it out next to see where it is leaking, could be the shaft. Otherwise no issues with the engine.

Ok. I agree. The pumps are inexpensive.
Will still try to figure out why the old one is leaking.

Well, try to remove some parts (for example pulleys and belt) to get better view. It could leak from top. Check also oil filter housing.

The weather is a little nasty right now, but before I replace parts I will do as you said
