i would like to change my differential oil but cant figure out which oil to use.They have 2. MDL or VSG .Also does my car have 1 or two differentials and do i use the same for both if I do indeed have 2

Standard 4 motion or 4 WD with diff locks? 2 diffs front & back. Mine is standard 4 motion so same oil front & rear. Don't forget the transfer box.

Transfer case is different. Capacity is listed in the Ravenol site but it is fill until it runs out of the hole.

You have 3 differentials. Front and rear are open (non locking), centre is a TorSen mechanically auto-locked.

Do you have to change the fluid in the center one

You should. It’s a part of the transfer case, and has moving parts that get warm bad break down the oil.

Your TorSen centre differential is inside the transfercase, they use the same fluid.

Are there two different places to change the fluid for both the transfer case and the TorSen fluid and if so how much fluid does the the TorSen take

They are one combined unit. Same fluid, same drain/fill holes. 0.7L comes to mind.

So the transfer case and TorSen are filled thru the same hole with a total capacity of . 7 L. So you don’t have to worry about filling the TorSen separately?
