I have a 2014 I’ve put 123,000 trouble free miles. How long can I expect it to last? I have an extended warranty that expires at 136,000 miles. Should I keep it or sell it. I love the car.

It’s the VR6. Thanks'14 what model do you have Mr. Single Post?
TDI? VR6?
I've got a '14 VR6 Exec getting close to 130k miles with no issues...ever. Everything I've heard says the VR6 is bullet proof. Keep up on maintenance and she'll be right as rain.
I have the VR6. I go to the dealer right on schedule I always get the service they recommend.Hello and welcome to the forums.
The year of the vehicle doesn't determine how reliable it is.
How it has been maintained during those miles will.
As stated in posted #3, which engine do you have? Also, what routine maintenance/servicing has been done to the vehicle?
so You’ve never gotten a transmission flush? A dealer won’t do the service for you I don’t think, VW labels it a “lifetime fluid” lol. I would say a transmission flush, and likely the differentials as well.I have the VR6. I go to the dealer right on schedule I always get the service they recommend.
As GolfWang said and to add, the transfer case fluid.I have the VR6. I go to the dealer right on schedule I always get the service they recommend.

Good to know, I know they say lifetime trans fluid. I have a 2006 Jetta TDI with 240,000 miles and never did anything with the trans on that either.so You’ve never gotten a transmission flush? For the love of VAG, please tell me it's not a DSG.Good to know, I know they say lifetime trans fluid. I have a 2006 Jetta TDI with 240,000 miles and never did anything with the trans on that either.
Seriously… but it is. A 2006 MK5 Jetta BRK TDI has a DSG. If he took that to the dealer too, they were giving him 40/80/120 etc DSG flushes. For the love of VAG, please tell me it's not a DSG.![]()
No idea, but a '06 TDI should be a BRM.... oh well... not my soon to be lawn ornament, so I'm indifferent.Seriously… but it is. A 2006 MK5 Jetta BRK TDI has a DSG. If he took that to the dealer too, they were giving him 40/80/120 etc DSG flushes.

Manual or Automatic?
AutomaticNow that you've got the right engine code, note that they also came with a 5 speed manual.
