Cayenne turbo sway bars are direct swap in for the earlier Touareg models and make a huge difference on my V10. Do some research, it'll be worth your while.
did you get the front, rear, or both?Did some research and spent some time on the phone with a Porsche parts guy. I ended up purchasing the "green dot" bars and bushings, which are for the Turbo and GTS with steel non-PASM suspension. They are quite hefty. There is one that is a bit thicker (brown dot), but the parts guy said that is for the PASM version, so may not be ideal, so suggested the green dot. I will install this weekend and post pics and part numbers after I verify that they fit, etc.
There is a similar thread, but for earlier Touaregs:

Looks like very easy swap. Will update after I swap them out
Curious to know how it works out. I like the ride of the Treg, but it could corner a bit flatter for my tastes, looks like this might be the ticket?Did some research and spent some time on the phone with a Porsche parts guy. It's interesting that those part numbers for the front sway bars match the T1 and T2 but the rears are different. VW and Porsche must have changed the rear suspension.Did the swap out this weekend. Porsche parts: 95534370170: Front stabilizer, green dot. $347 95534379261: Front stabilizer bushing. $8.51 x 4 95833370101: Rear stabilizer, green dot. $271 95533379240: Rear stabiliizer bushing. I know I am not driving a sports car, but I just wanted to improve the handling since that was my biggest gripe coming from my X5d. I feel the install was a success, and much happier.
Yes. My OE front bar also had yellow dot and rear with blue dot.spyderdoc,
...correction to below, my treg has a blue dot rear and a yellow dot front say
Great write-up, been looking for someone to do this.. The one complaint on my '13 tdi Lux with the blue dot sways is body roll cornering. What color were your sways?
Having done the swap, do you feel you need to do front and rear
I attached side by side pics of the bars for your reference.spyderdoc,
I'm going to do this..., is there any shot that you can measure the diameter of the F / R green dot sways you installed. I'd like to compare diameters of the bars prior to ordering........
Thanks
Interesting, please let us knowExcellent..... the increased diameters of the Porsche bars are music to my eyes
thank you all for the info
My son has a 2013 Cayenne diesel and he's about to be sent on an undercar mission when he returns from a business trip..... have driven his which feels far stiffer in corners to mine car but I never checked his sways against my blue dot / yellow dot
I researched this some time back. The bars are green on my 2012 Exec. Here is what the dealer gave as part numbers based on the vinNot sure about the rear sway bars but here is some info on the front sway bars. Front Bars: 955-343-701-50 = 37mm (yellow) 955-343-701-60 = 38mm (orange) 955-343-701-70 = 38mm (green) 955-343-701-80 = 38mm (brown) The diameter isn't the only factor, sway bars of same diameter have thicker walls and are stiffer. .
