I have some rattles coming out of a few areas in my dash. The arch I figured out already and the sunglasses, etc collection tray is next on my list to tackle. See the photo I included.

Is there a way to remove this tray collection thing so I can put some felt tape on it and re-install?

Yes. Look for the threads on replacing that center console with a covered storage tray.

I have searched and cannot find any information.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am getting motivated to fix all the rattles in my car again.

I thought by 2010 Touaregs didn't have these trays anymore, only the covered bins. Or was that an option?

It's probably a regional thing. Remember, North America doesn't get nice things.
