Looking to buy a 2009-2010 Volkswagen Touareg TDI with low miles, extended warranty, and fully optioned. Vehicle needs to be in excellent condition, well-maintained with all service records. Exterior color Campanella White or Galapagos Grey or White Gold Metallic. Interior: anything but black.
Must have air suspension, Lux and Tech packages, and Dynaudio.
Platinum Fidelity extended warranty please.
I owned a 2008 for 5 years and am now in a Tiguan -- it's great, but I want to go back to a Treg.

Thanks All!

Normally these are pretty rare. Two sold last November/December and I didn't see another on the national market for at least six months.

Right now, the 190 or so people who own these are waiting for the 3.0 VW settlement...expected to be announced tomorrow. We may learn how much over Sept 2015 trade-in value we'll be getting. In my case, the settlement may be worth as much as $25-$28K.

How do you know it's 190 people?

I recall reading somewhere that 190 2009 and 2010 V6 TDis were sold in the US with air suspension.

In 2009 and 2019 VW sold about 4500 Touaregs in the US each year, and in 2010, 35% were diesels. So if 3000 T2 diesels were sold over those two years, roughly, and maybe just under 10% were ordered with air, we get to the 190 number.

At any rate, it's a small handful, and some of those may no longer be in service.

Of course, Pilot seems to be trying to collect as many as possible for his own use, so who knows! :)

I bought my '10 from him...

Good luck. I've been looking for months for the exact same thing you are looking for. Finding a low mile one is the problem.

No bags! HID headlamps, NAV, 17" wheels, non-leather (better IMO) maintained like crazy, new trans fluid with filter, new fuel filter, new oil and filter, new air filter, new rear gate shocks and window shocks. Not sure what to ask at the moment but why do you want to buy one that is going to be re-called? Just curious? You'd have to split the money with me. ;) Which I am fine with. haha. Anyway, nothing wrong with it.

Looks nice, I like the interior of the 09-10s over the 11-16s. Are they forcing a buyback of those models? I tried searching thru the EPA recall post but I can't seem to find the answer. Also I know there was a calculator for the 2.0s but I don't see one for the 3.0s how are they getting there buyback #s already?

Not a forced buy back at all. Reason I have no desire to get rid of mine.

Definitely not but I probably won't be able to register my car in CA anymore. I want to keep mine too. But I will sell it for approx what VW would give me in order to keep it on the road. I find this buyback more harmful to the environment that leaving them alone and figuring out a fix for the Gen1.

Good to know. Thx. Trying my best to keep up with this.
Under current Emissions testing they technically all pass as long as everything is functioning the way it was meant to function. Who does real time emissions testing, no one that I am aware of.
