I am looking to replace original Xenon headlights to halogen headlights. Appreciate if anyone can provide any info on wire/pin set up, including copy of wire diagrams.
Thank you for responding on my request. Using this 2006 Touareg for driving locally only in South Florida. I got brand new headlights assembly for good price. Halogen lights are just fine and cheaper to maintain.I can provide diagrams later, but may I ask why you want to downgrade your lighting?
I can supply new Phillips light bulbs, D1S, for $125/pair.. I’m a NA licensed distributor. Please contact me directly. These were Valeo OEM lights. I can get Hella direct for the later system design that followed the road. You can get an Asian made replacement lens assembly thru Amazon I’ve found at less than half the OEM. Good luck.I think I will keep original Xenon headlights and will try to restore them or to get some good used ones. Have problem with cracked insulation and exposed internal wiring.
The insulation on the wiring is a common issue. I remember reading in a thread where someone had replaced theirs with a better quality wire. I can't seem to recall the thread unfortunately.I think I will keep original Xenon headlights and will try to restore them or to get some good used ones. Have problem with cracked insulation and exposed internal wiring.
