Monster out of it's cage! While replacing tandem fuel pumps lots of WYIT like replacing DPF, turbos, oil filter housing, prop shaft & carrier bearing, glow plugs & housings, intake flap motor, cleaning throttle bodies & EGR valves. Did it all because I was really intending to keep this forever.

 

WTF is a tandem fuel pump?
If it's a fuel pump, its a fuel pump.
If it's a fuel and vacuum pump, it's a tandem pump.
Look up the definition of tandem!
Also, there's one of each.... not two of either, not even the ones you're making up as being a thing.

I was recently picked up in the exact year/make/model as your Touareg (Black exterior and interior) and brand new to the reality of what this car really is!
My girlfriend's mentor and old colleague has had his 2006 w/ 220K miles since 2007, after buying it from the original owner and he has nothing but good things to say about it.

I'm located in Phoenix, Arizona so unfortunately I'm not local to swing by and look at the vehicle...but definitely interested.

This vehicle does not have rear differential lock. Very clean though, nice work taking care of it.

 

yeah, I learned recently from several others I do not have rear locking diff. Never had it offroad though. Price reduced to $15,000.
