I am posting my beloved V10 for sale as we have moved into a Audi Q7 for hauling more kids.
Here is some info about it. CarFax report attached at bottom also.
Colorado Red Exterior with Pure Beige Interior. It is equipped with every available option that I know of except the rear differential lock. Runs great and very smooth ride!
-
Improvements:
Malone Stg1 Tune with Dynamic EGR (helps warm the engine faster) and DPF Delete.
DPFs have been cleared of "restriction" and reinstalled to keep the stock look.
Vertex Center Driveshaft support, permanent fix for stock one that usually wears out every 60k miles.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo front Sway Bar, Bushings and Lower Control Arms for added stability.
-
Maintenance:
It has had regular Engine oil changes using 505.01 approved Pentosin 5W30 Super Performance 3 for oil changes. Last oil change I switched to Schaffers S9000 as Frank06 recommends for our engines. Runs great!
Fuel filter has been changed every other oil change and was just changed Jan 2018. I use Mann Oil and Fuel filters.
Transmission filter and fluid were changed with Amsoil ATF in March 2014.
Minor items that I have not gotten around to addressing:
1. The Kessy buttons are temperamental. I have researched it and it looks like new handles and Kessy module are the normal fix. Keyless Start Button always works perfectly.
2. The little latch on the drivers rear door cubby hole below the armrest pops open because a little piece of plastic is broken. Need to replace the cubby hole.
3. The 12v outlet in the trunk has a broken cover. Needs a new outlet.
4. The hood had a few places where the paint chips that I have touched up with some Colorado Red touch up paint.. The hood is Aluminum so there is no rust.
5. The drivers front tow hook needs a new plastic cover.
6. The dome light switch near the sunroof has a bit of pealing on the switch.
7. Flip out cup holder in the center console lid will not latch closed so it opens when you open the console lid.
8. Headliner fabric is starting to sag in the rear. Will need to be re-covered.
I have attached the CARFAX that I pulled before I purchased the vehicle in 2014.
Asking $9500 to be competitive with what similar V10s are currently going for. This one has power, reliability and mpg improvements that most don't have though!
Also, here is a link to My Photobucket with more pictures.
