OK guys.... so filled up my touareg yesterday. Later that night it felt like it was sluggish, and misfiring. Then this am same thing and the yellow check engine light came on, and after periodically would simply cut out. would restart fine and drive then cut out.
HHEEELLLPPPPP ... im thinking its bad gas? or is it something else?

Fuel pumps. Replace both of them. My Treg did the same thing. I replaced the pumps and she runs fine now.

Both pumps and filter replaced --- golden ---- each were $360 Each. It is what it is but after 154k on the treg I think its time was due!
