progress is slow ,have tried to chase the problem using the search function just to find posts with no conclusion.
i have ross tech VCDS which a basic scan is near the limit of my current ability, I am struggling to put into use you tube directions on how to use it .
so i ask for some patience .
i have pulled the intakes off and removed carbon i cleaned intake ports as best as possible . removed EGR valves and fitted block off plates to exhaust manifolds . repaired the wiring on the fuel composition sensor ,replaced fuel filters , both batteries ,oil and filter for motor and trans.
ecu were sent of for repair this was needed as main ecu had can bus failure .i have inspected the cam on r/h bank and visually looks fine .
I replaced the injector loom in r/h side .and i have added a catch can running of the left pcv and have removed the right pcv . and have plugged the pcv inlet port in the intake to the turbo .

that covers work to date .
the touareg starts brilliantly and idles well . it is slow of the mark gets to 3000 rpm approx 80klm or 50mph and loses all acceleration and the revs drop to around 1500 rpm i can only just hold the speed and it starts to hunt /minor surging.
gearbox seems to shift well
I want to use VCDS to log fuel trims and check boost .i wil need help
i need to know flow rate n pressure specifications for the tank pumps so i can check it at the filter and how to run the electrical pumps through VCDS.
i will be chasing up and adapter to connect a pressure gauge to the HPFP to verify their out put.
thankyou for your help and support so far.

the o4 has no regen mode or any way to actually know their is no egr gear on the car its a fairly basic set up on the 04 .
i have reached out on multiple platforms for some real time specs ect and have found some will be doing some fuel pressure and flow checks.

i have checked with vcds the movement of the actuators and it seemed fine ,but when i took for a run in the rain a few days ago it went alot better than it has been . im thinking water may have freed up the linkages more, so i will service the linkages with lube and run the tests again.
thankyou for help it is much appreciated
