Today, I took my 2004 Volkswagen Touareg V8 with Air suspension to Hibdon Tires for Alignment and this is the report they gave me(below picture). Are those numbers right or look good? Does something need to be changed? What is it? Where can I get the manufacturer's specs? Please help me! I just put tires with lots of thread on the car. Thank You

That's a standard print out for your make and model.

The top half with red shows your tracking was out, the bottom half all in green shows it's fixed.

Why would you think something is wrong?

Key item on your old V8 is the timing belt. When was it last changed along with the water pump, thermostat and tensioners?

The belt's service life is 80,000 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. If the belt breaks the engine is toast.

The car does not drive very well. Once I letgo of the wheel the car immediately steers to the right and I have to bring it back. The front left tire is not that smooth when in high speed especially hitting the 70 mph.
I am looking at crissing the front two tires with each other and see what happens. So far I have had 4 alignments and going for 5th one.

I had the same "pulling to the right" problem when my 04 was new, as did many others. Took several trips to get the alignment right. Just being "green" on the print out may not be enough. I have a hunch that decreasing the left front toe-in by a little bit might do the trick, while still being within spec. You might have to find an alignment shop with a real pro who is not just pushing tin, and is willing to tweak the toe a few times to get it right.

Has your car been on one of these machines?

Yes my car has been on those kind of machines every time I go for realignment and it’s the same thing. I will keep going to the shop for realignment if it’s not right because I have 6 months alignment warranty.

I did some research and I feel like it’s may be my ball joints on front left side. Based on what I read about ball joints and symptoms, I can definitely relate that to my car. First I thought it was the front left tire. Then i took it to the shop and switched the front two tires with each other and also did wheel balance on all of the tires and still the car pulls to the right, which means the tires are good and they have lots of thread left. Now I suspect it’s my ball joints. Could it be?
