Selling my 2004 Volkswagen Touareg TDI V10 Diesel. I'm the second owner. I've had it since 2011. It's an awesome car, and I'm going to miss it, but we have too many in our stable right now. It is 12 years old, and showing its age, but still is a blast to drive. With some mostly cosmetic TLC, it will go another 100,000. Here is the good, bad, and ugly:

THE GOOD:
Two brand new batteries.
All of the options available in 2004, including:
Four zone climate control.
Cold weather package.
Heated seats front and back.
Standard and winter rubber floor mats.
Roof rack.
Keyless entry.
Sun roof.
Four corner air suspension.
AWD.
Heated steering wheel.
Rear window screens.
Tow package.
Fully biodiesel compatible; the only Touareg that is.
Leather interior.
On-board air compressor.
Registration is good through January.
I have all maintenance records since I bought it. Most repairs done at Burlingame Independent.

THE BAD:
Brake pad light just went on.
Passenger side mirror turn signal is broken.
Tire pressure monitors are dead.
Slow leak of power steering fluid--I just top it off 1 or 2x per year.
Rear wiper does not work.

THE UGLY:
Clear-coat is starting to peel on hood and roof in places.
Front bumper and grille is cracked where I hit a lawn chair on the freeway.
Various small dents and scratches.
Leather is dirty and small punctures a couple places in rear seats.
Typical VW button peeling.
Only about half of the window buttons work.
Parking brake release is broken; still functional but requires two hands to operate.

I've tried to describe it as best I can, but I'm sure I'm missing something. I'm selling as-is. Again, it's a 12 year old vehicle, and needs care, but most of it is cosmetic.

Priced to sell -- $8900, or best offer. I want to sell it quickly, so money talks.

Thanks! Vehicle located in San Mateo, California.

Still for sale

I posted many more pictures on my Craigslist ad. The forum won't let me post a link, so if interested just go to SF Bay Area Craigslist and search for 2004 touareg v10. Thanks!
