150cm / 59-60" Cross bars for CR?

Anybody fitting cross bars at least 150cm / 59" long to a CR (flush rails)?

Thule, Rhino, Yakima/Prorack/Whispbar have around 135cm / 53" in their fit guides, but that seems narrow for such a wide car, and the makers don't provide enough technical detail to assess whether longer bars will fit.

I use the 50-in bars and I think they look absolutely perfect. They look sporty but they're also functional. You can go longer but then it starts to overhang the car and it looks really stupid unless you have a specific purpose for needing them that wide

My challenge is that the car is 80" wide and I want to mount a Thule Hullavator that swings out and down beside the car to hoist up a kayak or in my case a pair of SUPs. So that the Hullavator doesn't strike the side of the car, the cross bars need a decent amount of overhang past the roof rails and a minimum 4" overhang on the feet to actually mount the Hullavator.. 50" bars were marginal on my old Lexus and the Touareg is significantly wider so 50" won't cut it, and I'm not confident that 53" are long enough either. This is an older Touareg, but shows what I mean https://www.roofrackstore.com.au/images/Twin-Thule-Hullavators-VW-Touareg-1.jpg https://www.rackattack.com/img/blog/touareg-kayak-rack-5.jpg

Looks like I'm going to have to order some racks in to a nearby shop on condition that I can try the fit first.

So my bars are 50 in Long, another 9 in would be four and a half inches per side which would definitely take you past being flush with the doors. Realizing of a different generation and different configuration might add a little difficulty

First photo shows overhang with 59" length; second is with 53". For appearance sake, definitely 53", which is what Rhino Rack and Yakima suggest, would be better. But at the front that's only just over 3" past the roof rail so I think I'll keep trying on the 59" option. At least doing the mockup I can be confident I won't bang my head.

As an aside, it doesn't feel huge to drive, but this thing has some serious bulk when you put it in a garage!

Well I finally found my solution.
Rhino Rack suggests a 1375mm/54" bar; however a 1500mm/59" bar fits easily. The limitation is how far the legs can slide into the tracks to match the spacing of the rails at the rear, but the 1500mm bars have 65mm to spare.
Perhaps aesthetically more overhang than some folks would prefer, but it doesn't worry me and functionally just what I need. Roof bars are hardly a styling feature at the best of times :)
