If you have ever wondered how hard it is to fit a new media player to your treg, the answer is not difficult.
I wanted apple car play that auto connect via blue tooth, when phone is locked so you just get in the car and it just happens.
I settled on a eonon from eBay.
1mm bent steel brackets one long one short. You will need countersunk screws as you only have 3mm to play with
I used the adapter cable for vw and took ignition supply from heated seat switch, black blue on mine, and illumination supply used light from same switch, grey, I had to add a pass diode and 1uf capacitor other wise the unit ignored the PWM supply the switch gets. It saves taking dash apart.
